Sarah Fowler Arthur is a proven, principled leader who believes that faith, family, hard work, and local values are the foundation of strong communities. Currently serving in the Ohio House of Representatives, Sarah proudly represents the 99th District, working every day on behalf of the families, farmers, veterans, educators, and small business owners of Ashtabula and Geauga Counties.

Sarah serves on four important House committees. Agriculture and Conservation; Armed Services and Veterans Affairs; Primary and Secondary Education; and State and Local Government—where she is a consistent voice for practical solutions, local control, and responsible government. She understands that effective leadership means showing up, listening, and doing the hard work necessary to deliver results for her district.

Before her election to the Ohio House, Sarah dedicated seven years to public service on the Ohio State Board of Education. During that time, she earned statewide respect as a champion for parental involvement and local decision-making in education. She made history as the first homeschool graduate in the nation elected to a State Board of Education and was twice re-elected in a six-county district. Her experience includes service on more than a dozen committees and workgroups, leadership as vice chairman of multiple committees, and chairmanship of the Teaching, Leading, and Learning Committee.

Sarah’s strong work ethic was shaped long before she entered public office. Raised in agriculture, she learned the value of responsibility at an early age. At just eleven years old, she launched her first small business, Sarah’s Eggs, delivering farm-fresh eggs throughout her neighborhood by bicycle and later expanding to farmers markets, health food stores, and restaurants. That entrepreneurial spirit continues today through her family owned businesses in agriculture, tourism, and hospitality.

A small business owner and educator, Sarah understands firsthand the challenges faced by working families and entrepreneurs. She has taught practical life skills, including canning and sewing, and has provided music instruction to dozens of young students. Her experiences in the classroom, the marketplace, and the fields give her a grounded, common-sense approach to policymaking.

Sarah and her husband Isaac, a U.S. Army veteran and childen, live on their farm in Plymouth Township, Ashtabula County. Deeply rooted in the community, Sarah is an active supporter of local agriculture, small businesses, and civic organizations. She believes decisions are best made close to home and that government should serve the people not the other way around.

Guided by the values instilled by her parents and grandparents, hard work, respect, loyalty, and love for God and others, Sarah Fowler Arthur continues to serve with integrity and purpose.
