April Mariotti is the Small Business Owner of Metal Massage Detailing and Fiscal Clerk for The Ashtabula County Council on Aging which lends to an impeccable understanding of practical financial reporting policies, attention to detail, and managing resources wisely. She holds degrees from The University of Washington and Kent State University. Her education in Accounting and Business Administration reinforces her wide range of qualifications including efficient money handling protocols, information technology, and accurate record documentation.
With 25 years of retail Customer Service experience, she has been providing helpful information, answering questions, as well as, fielding grievances to ensure that customers are satisfied with the services she represents. Her success in this field inspired her to become elected to the Jefferson Village Council. “My commitment to protecting the expectations of customers,” Ms. Mariotti explains, “pertains to citizens as well. After all, taxpayers are spending money and expecting satisfaction from the services of their representatives.”
April volunteers at several local clubs and charities around the county. She serves as the Secretary for the Ashtabula County Young Republicans and is a member of the Ashtabula County Republican Women’s Club. She is active in her church, Resurrection Life Church in Orwell, as their webmaster, attends Bible Study at Jefferson Nazarene Church, and organizes programs at Cowboy Church in Pierpont. She founded Amber Place in 2014, which teaches individuals basic life skills, reconditioning techniques, and upcycling. Additionally, she coordinates the annual event Garage Sale Bonanza in Ashtabula at the Old State Road Armory.
Based on her history of business management, record keeping, and customer service skills, April Mariotti is uniquely qualified for the position of Clerk of Courts. It is her goal to demonstrate her management skills by improving the customer experience, streamlining record-keeping, and expanding the online presence in the office.
